my java game download appears as .htm file?

i try downloading a java game, ELOPE, i didn't get a jar file but i get .htm file..

i renamed it to name.jar [prrevious name something.htm]

after that then it works well... there's no problem opening it with winrar after i rename it.

my internet connection is kinda slower during that time..

that could be problems... i wonder how could that happen..

Does this problem occur all the time with all files or just temporarily? I'm not too sure why that could be happening but as you've said, it maybe to do with your connection.
