Usually i would just cut off their food supply by placing watchtowers near them and 2-3 soldiers/horses and wait them to build the workers until they ran out of food to build anymore >.>

all you need is to advance to age3...then build castle enmass...you dont need more than that...it can kill any thing on its way. i finished the game within 4hrs with this tecnic.

Yeah, it's truly frustrating when we're stuck at one level. I can't pass level 17, the enemies are too strong. Still keep trying though.
