All i see is a bad wanna be 3D graphic game with ugly looking characters and the name doom makes me think of the that stupid old shooting game

Agreed. On mobile, this rpg system suits it perfectly. Wolfenstein was fantastic and so is this.

I was wondering, apart from te base stats, does choosing a different character at the beginning make any diffrence at all?

I'm currently playing it for a third time, now with the scientist and I haven't noticed any difference except for their stats.

I'm also investigating what happens if you choose "Malloc" instead of "Delete" when you confront Vios.

*Edit*

I finished the game with all three characters, and chose "Malloc" on the last one, as I stated above and the only difference was that the battle became shorter each time.
