I just got them both watched tonight. I'm not sure if I like the direction Smallville is going or not. I hated to see Clark and Chloe kinda at odds. But she really shouldn't of asked Clark to turn back time. But she's hurting right now, and not in sound mind of what she's asking of Clark. Another part I'm not fond of but it's a bit spoilerish and we don't want Spike spoiled!
Good heavens, he's hard enough to live with as it is!

As for Supernatural, it's good, intense, but I don't like what their doing to the brothers!
