The thing called RP is reward points. U get them by uploading stuff like ringtones and videos, themes etc. RP is rewarded if you upload stuff and no real purpose than to improve your rank on the site and to share cool stuff u may have made or found and wanna upload it so other ppl can download them and use them.
Rep is something ur given when somebody clicks on the "give Rep" icon below the users avatar when they post a message in the forum. No real purpose other than to give a person rep for helping someone out, agreeing with u and stuff.
