The Choirboys - Joseph Wambaugh

http://img357.imageshack.us/img357/9201/n65835aq0.jpg

Partners in the Los Angeles Police Department, they’re haunted by terrifying dark secrets of the nightwatch–shared predawn drink and *** sessions they call choir practice. Each wears his cynicism like a bulletproof jockstrap–each has his horror story, his bad dream, his night shriek. He is afraid of his friends–he is afraid of himself.

The Moving Finger - Agatha Christie

http://www.all-about-agatha-christie.com/images/agatha-christie-the-moving-finger.jpg

This is the story of a man struggling to cope with a life-transforming catharsis precipitated by his investigation of a drug-smuggling/hijacking operation, complicated by the disappearance of his wife, and involvement with another woman.

Mrs. McGinty's Dead - Agatha Christie

http://images.barnesandnoble.com/images/14290000/14297055.JPG

Mrs McGinty is murdered because she has recognised someone in her village as a notorious killer - but can Hercule Poirot and Ariadne Oliver find out who it is before the killer strikes again?

The Kite Runner - Khalid Hosseini

http://img157.imageshack.us/img157/1693/book4id4.jpg

The Kite Runner follows the story of Amir, the privileged son of a wealthy businessman in Kabul, and Hassan, the son of Amir's father's servant. As children in the relatively stable Afghanistan of the early 1970s, the boys are inseparable. They spend idyllic days running kites and telling stories of mystical places and powerful warriors until an unspeakable event changes the nature of their relationship forever, and eventually cements their bond in ways neither boy could have ever predicted. Even after Amir and his father flee to America, Amir remains haunted by his cowardly actions and disloyalty. In part, it is these demons and the sometimes impossible quest for forgiveness that bring him back to his war-torn native land after it comes under Taliban rule.

People, it would really make me a lot happier if you requested for specific books by stating the title and the author. Don't make this harder for me.:P

Red Dragon - Thomas Harris

http://img86.imageshack.us/img86/8748/n584fu0.jpg

The sleuth, Will Graham, actually quit the FBI after nearly getting killed by Lecter while nabbing him, but fear isn't what bugs him about crime busting. It's just too creepy to get inside a killer's twisted mind. But he comes back to stop a madman who's been butchering entire families. The FBI needs Graham's insight, and Graham needs Lecter's genius. But Lecter is a clever fiend, and he manipulates both Graham and the killer at large from his cell.

The Silence of the Lambs - Thomas Harris

http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41MQ1D2S75L._SL500_AA240_.jpg

Clarice Starling, a precociously self-disciplined FBI trainee, is dispatched by her boss, Section Chief Jack Crawford, the FBI's most successful tracker of serial killers, to see whether she can learn anything useful from Dr. Hannibal Lecter. Lecter's a gifted psychopath whose nickname is "The Cannibal" because he likes to eat parts of his victims. Isolated by his crimes from all physical contact with the human race, he plays an enigmatic game of "Clue" with Starling, providing her with snippets of data that, if she is smart enough, will lead her to the criminal. Undaunted, she goes where the data takes her. As the tension mounts and the bureaucracy thwarts Starling at every turn, Crawford tells her, "Keep the information and freeze the feelings." Insulted, betrayed, and humiliated, Starling struggles to focus. If she can understand Lecter's final, ambiguous scrawl, she can find the killer. But can she figure it out in time?

Hannibal - Thomas Harris

http://img55.imageshack.us/img55/5516/044022467501lzzzzzzzve9.jpg

Years later, posing as scholarly Dr. Fell, curator of a grand family's palazzo, Hannibal lives the good life in Florence, playing lovely tunes by serial killer/composer Henry VIII and killing hardly anyone himself. Clarice is unluckier: in the novel's action-film-like opening scene, she survives an FBI shootout gone wrong, and her nemesis, Paul Krendler, makes her the fall guy. Clarice is suspended, so, unfortunately, the first cop who stumbles on Hannibal is an Italian named Pazzi, who takes after his ancestors, greedy betrayers depicted in Dante's Inferno.

Hannibal Rising - Thomas Harris

http://img355.imageshack.us/img355/540/hb070104030236667widewekk8.jpg

It tells the story of young Hannibal and what happened to him and his family during World War II. At this point of chronology young Hannibal is 13. Europe is being ravaged by war. Atrocities are being committed everywhere. The description of what happened to Hannibal's little sister "Mischa" is haunting. In the book Hannibal plays it over and over again in his mind. You just know that he is going to explode into action. But you don't know quite when. Harris skillfully leads his readers to the precipice many times.

The_Dead_Man:surrender:

In Cold Blood is a 1966 book by American author Truman Capote.

It details the 1959 slaying of Herbert Clutter, a wealthy farmer from Holcomb, Kansas; his wife, and two children. When Capote learned of the quadruple murder before the killers were captured, he decided to travel to Kansas and write about the crime. Bringing his childhood friend and fellow author Harper Lee along, together they interviewed local residents and investigators assigned to the case and took thousands of pages of notes. The killers, Richard "Dick" Hickock and Perry Smith, were arrested not long after the murders, and Capote ultimately spent six years working on the book. It is considered the originator of the non-fiction novel and the forerunner of the New Journalism movement.

The story weaves a complicated psychological story of two parolees who together commit a mass murder, an act they were not capable of individually. Capote's book also details the lives of the victims and the effect the crime had on where they lived. A large part of the story involves the dynamic psychological relationship of the two felons that culminated in this senseless crime. In Cold Blood is often regarded as a pioneering work of true crime.

It isn't a .jar file. It's a pdf - scanned images of the book. It's more than 258 mb. As of present, there aren't any ebook formats (lit, rgo, pdf, txt, doc, etc) out on the net -- only that image pdf scanned by someone.

The best you can do if you really want to read the book is to dload it and view it on your computer. Nobody is gonna be able to convert it to jar because it is not convertable to txt format since all of it are images.

The War of the World - H. G. Wells

http://img235.imageshack.us/img235/1603/n17423rt3.jpg

Things then progress from a series of seemingly mundane reports about odd atmospheric disturbances taking place on Mars to the arrival of Martians just outside of London. At first the Martians seem laughable, hardly able to move in Earth's comparatively heavy gravity even enough to raise themselves out of the pit created when their spaceship landed. But soon the Martians reveal their true nature as death machines 100-feet tall rise up from the pit and begin laying waste to the surrounding land. Wells quickly moves the story from the countryside to the evacuation of London itself and the loss of all hope as England's military suffers defeat after defeat.

The Stranger - Albert Camus

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/2/2f/TheStranger_BookCover3.jpg

A young Algerian, Meursault, afflicted with a sort of aimless inertia, becomes embroiled in the petty intrigues of a local pimp and, somewhat inexplicably, ends up killing a man. Once he's imprisoned and eventually brought to trial, his crime, it becomes apparent, is not so much the arguably defensible murder he has committed as it is his deficient character. The trial's proceedings are absurd, a parsing of incidental trivialities--that Meursault, for instance, seemed unmoved by his own mother's death and then attended a comic movie the evening after her funeral are two ostensibly damning facts--so that the eventual sentence the jury issues is both ridiculous and inevitable.

The Plague - Albert Camus

http://images.barnesandnoble.com/images/13780000/13781118.JPG

Set in Algeria, in northern Africa, The Plague is a powerful study of human life and its meaning in the face of a deadly virus that sweeps dispassionately through the city, taking a vast percentage of the population with it.

Nausea - Jean Paul Sartre

http://images.barnesandnoble.com/images/14640000/14644714.JPG

Written in the form of journal entries, it follows 30-year-old Antoine Roquentin who, returned from years of travel, settles in the fictional French seaport town of Bouville to finish his research on the life of an 18th-century political figure. But during the winter of 1932, a "sweetish sickness" he calls nausea increasingly impinges on almost everything he does or enjoys: his research project, the company of "The Self-Taught Man" who is reading all the books in the library alphabetically, a pleasant physical relationship with a cafe owner named Francoise, his memories of Anny, an English girl he once loved, even his own hands and the beauty of nature.

The Idiot - Fyodor Dostoyevsky

http://img237.imageshack.us/img237/7729/kat2ra1.jpg

he twenty-six-year-old Prince Myshkin, following a stay of several years in a Swiss sanatorium, returns to Russia to collect an inheritance and “be among people.” Even before he reaches home he meets the dark Rogozhin, a rich merchant’s son whose obsession with the beautiful Nastasya Filippovna eventually draws all three of them into a tragic denouement. In Petersburg the prince finds himself a stranger in a society obsessed with money, power, and manipulation. Scandal escalates to murder as Dostoevsky traces the surprising effect of this “positively beautiful man” on the people around him, leading to a final scene that is one of the most powerful in all of world literature.

The Chronicles of Narnia present the adventures of children who play central roles in the unfolding history of the fictional realm of Narnia, a place where animals talk, magic is common, and good battles evil. Each of the books (with the exception of The Horse and His Boy) features as its protagonists children from our world who are magically transported to Narnia, where they are called upon to help the Lion Aslan handle a crisis in the world of Narnia .

Digital Fortress - Dan Brown

http://img177.imageshack.us/img177/9445/digitalfortressen1.jpg

Susan Fletcher, a brilliant mathematician and head of the National Security Agency's (NSA's) cryptography division, finds herself faced with an unbreakable code named "Digital Fortress", that TRANSLTR cannot break. TRANSLTR is the NSA's 3 million processor supercomputer that can crack encrypted data using the brute force method in a short amount of time, with some codes broken in more than 3 hours, others within minutes. The code of "Digital Fortress" is written by Japanese cryptographer Ensei Tankado, a fired employee of the NSA, who is displeased with the agency's intrusion into people's privacy. Tankado posts a copy of Digital Fortress on his website, encrypted with itself. Tankado auctions the passkey to unlock the algorithm on his website, threatening that his accomplice "North Dakota" will release the algorithm for free if he dies. Tankado is found dead in Seville, Spain. Fletcher, along with her fiancé, David Becker, a skilled linguist with eidetic memory, must find a solution to stop the spread of the code.

P.S. I Love You - Cecelia Ahern

http://img169.imageshack.us/img169/1730/9780007165001gd5.jpg

Set in Ireland, Holly Kennedy is beautiful, smart and married to the love of her life--a passionate, funny and impetuous Irishman named Gerry. So when Gerry's life is taken by an illness, it takes the life out of Holly. The only one who can help her is the person who is no longer there. Nobody knows Holly better than Gerry. So it's a good thing he planned ahead. Before he died, Gerry wrote Holly a series of 10 letters that will guide her, not only through her grief but in rediscovering herself. The messages are Gerry's way of informing Holly life goes on. The messages include various tasks and treats Gerry has left for Holly. This is his way of letting her know he will always be there for her. In the months that follow, more letters from Gerry are delivered in surprising ways, each sending her on a new adventure and each signing off in the same way: "P.S. I Love You." Holly's mother and best friends, Sharon and Denise, begin to worry that Gerry's letters are keeping Holly tied to the past, but, in fact, each letter is pushing her further into a new future. With Gerry's words as her guide, Holly embarks on a journey of rediscovery in a story about marriage, friendship and how a love so strong can turn the finality of death into new beginning for life.

The Great and Secret Show - Clive Barker

http://img111.imageshack.us/img111/8884/greatandsecretshowkk6.jpg

The novel is about the conflict between two highly evolved men - Randolph Jaffe and Richard Fletcher - over the mystical dream sea called Quiddity. Jaffe hopes to tap into Quiddity's power while Fletcher wants to prevent it from being tainted. The conflict between the two men spills into the real world in a decades-long feud, distorting reality and affecting the entire human race.

Weaveworld - Clive Barker

http://img45.imageshack.us/img45/5535/n77ys1.jpg

The novel revolves around the world of the Fugue, a magical world which lies woven within a rug. Many decades ago, the Seerkind, creatures of magical abilities, decided to hide themselves, through some spell, in a safe haven, after being hunted down and eradicated by humans for centuries (with humans most commonly depicting them as demons and fairies in their mythological tales) as well as being decimated by a destructive being known as The Scourge, whose form is entirely unknown to the Seerkind, given that none of them assaulted by the Scourge survived to describe it. The Seerkind collect a number of beautiful places, hills, meadows and mountains, alongside their belongings and themselves and undergo a spell which encloses all of them in a rug. They also leave one of their race, a Seerkind woman named Mimi Lasenski, outside, in the human world (the Kingdom of Cuckoos, as they call it) with the purpose of keeping and guarding the rug and also unleashing the world of the Fugue someday, when the world will be a safe place for them. Eight decades later, a sudden interest emerges for the rug, at the time an elderly Mimi (having lost her immortality) expires: Cal Mooney, an ordinary young man, bumps into the rug and realises its magical nature; Suzanna Parish, Mimi's granddaughter wants to claim the property of her grandmother and access its secrets; Immacolata, once exiled by the Seerkind into the human world wants to find the rug and destroy her race. Cal and Suzanna join forces against Immacolata, her dead sisters and the greedy human known as Shadwell. The second part of the book develops within the world of Fugue, unleashed from within the rug, and deals with the struggle of characters for the control of this sensational world. The third part sees the Fugue destroyed, with the surviving Seerkind, Cal and Suzanna hiding in the forests of northern England and facing the ultimate battle against the resurrected Scourge.

Tuesdays With Morrie - Albom Mitch

http://img158.imageshack.us/img158/8393/tuesdayswithmorrie06072ae8.jpg

In the best-selling memoir of all time, Mitch Albom recounts his time spent with an old professor, Morrie Schwartz, as he was dying from ALS, more commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. The memoir, based entirely on recorded conversations between Albom and Morrie about life’s most important lessons, was initially proposed for the sole purpose of paying Morrie’s medical bills. Four years later, it had spent 205 consecutive weeks on the New York Times Bestseller List.

I guess that's because your phone can't run an application that's more than 1mb in size. So I divided the collection into two, by three's - this worked on my phone btw. Hope it will on yours too.
